Peach & Cream Smoothie

I recently tried a peach yogurt, and I fell in love with its taste.

Since I sometimes have smoothies in the mornings (to save time) I thought this would be an excellent experiment to try.

This peaches and cream smoothie is my go-to whenever I want something refreshing, naturally sweet, and just indulgent enough to feel like a treat.

I love this smoothie because it feels like dessert, but it’s made with good-for-you ingredients like frozen peaches, creamy Greek yogurt, and your choice of milk. You can keep it simple or add a little flair—think vanilla, cinnamon, or even a spoonful of oats to make it breakfast-worthy.

And this recipe comes together very quickly – it only takes 5 minutes tops!

Tips for the Best Peach & Cream Smoothie

Getting the balance of flavors and colors just right is key. Here are a few essential tips to keep in mind:

  1. Use frozen peaches to make the smoothie extra thick and cold. I love these organic ones.
  2. A touch of real vanilla extract adds that signature “cream” flavor—this is the one I swear by.
  3. Add a scoop of your favorite vanilla or unflavored protein powder to make it a post-workout treat: Try this one.
  4. Want it extra rich? Use coconut cream instead of milk for a tropical twist.
  5. If you’re using fresh peaches, slice and freeze them ahead of time for better texture and flavor.

Now, let’s dive into the recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups frozen peach slices

  • ½ frozen banana (for creaminess)

  • ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt

  • ¾ cup milk of choice (dairy, almond, oat, etc.)

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1–2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey (optional)

  • Ice cubes (only if using fresh peaches)

  • Optional: a pinch of cinnamon or a scoop of protein powder

Directions

  • Add the frozen peaches, banana, yogurt, milk, vanilla extract, and maple syrup to a blender. If you’re using fresh peaches instead of frozen, toss in a handful of ice cubes to thicken it up.
  • Blend everything on high speed until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides if needed. Taste and adjust sweetness, adding more honey or maple syrup if your peaches are on the tart side.
  • Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately. For a dreamy touch, top with whipped cream, granola, or a sprinkle of cinnamon.

  • I absolutely love these on days when I need a pick-me-up.

Variations and Substitutes:

Make it dairy-free with almond milk and coconut yogurt.
Add a tablespoon of oats or chia seeds for a fiber boost and more filling power.
Swap the banana for avocado if you’re avoiding bananas—it makes it thick and creamy without altering the flavor.
Throw in a few frozen strawberries or raspberries to turn this into a peaches-and-berries smoothie.
Garnish with sliced peaches and granola to turn it into a smoothie bowl.

This is one of my favorite smoothies currently.

Whether you’re sipping it as a light breakfast, a post-workout refresher, or an afternoon pick-me-up, this smoothie is the perfect blend of sweet and nourishing.

Every time I make it, I’m reminded that the simplest flavors are often the most comforting.
